NORTH VERNON — Nathaly Munnicha fired a 2-under-par 33 Wednesday to win medalist honors and lead the sixth-ranked Columbus North girls golfers to a 150-205 win against Jennings County at St. Anne’s.
Yestika Nischol carded a 38, and Ella Wilks added a 39 for the Bull Dogs. Gwen Anderson shot 40, Annie Anderson had a 41 and Macy Euler finished with a 46 for North, which had its best score of the season.
"(Munnicha is) playing really solid," North coach Scott Seavers said. "I’m also happy with Yestika. She worked hard over the summer, and she’s been playing really well. None of the girls had played there before, so I’m happy to walk off there with a 150. That’s a solid score."
Sophia Curry led the Panthers with a 46. Ellie Hearne carded a 48, Emy Ralston added a 54, Abby Rowlett shot 57 and Lavanna Rickly had a 65.
