If you’ve seen tweets from The Republic sports reporters over the past few years, they’ve mainly been on The Republic’s general Twitter account.
Beginning this fall, The Republic’s social media presence will branch out with the sports reporters giving tweets from their own accounts.
So if you’re interested in updates from Columbus East or Columbus North football games or from selected volleyball, soccer, cross-country, boys tennis or girls golf contests this fall, or from basketball and other sports as we get into the winter and spring seasons, give us a follow.
Sports editor Ted Schultz’s new Twitter handle is @TSchultzSports
Sports writer James Pence’s Twitter handle is @jpencesports
We also will continue to tweet out breaking news, as well as what to watch for in the following day’s Republic sports section.
Of course, the best place to find the most comprehensive sports coverage is here in the pages of The Republic and online at therepublic.com. But now, you have a way to get updates via our personal Twitter accounts.
