Barbara Ann Blair, 76, passed away August 14, 2019, at Midcoast Hospital in Brunswick, Maine, with her daughters by her side.
We would like to express our deepest gratitude to every single staff member who had a hand in caring for our mother. We can never thank the nursing staff on Med Surg North and South enough for the love and compassion that was shown to Mom the last 10 days of her life. We are eternally grateful.
Barbara was born on May 4, 1953, to Paul “Cecil” and Beatrice Waddell Blair.
Barbara lived in Edinburgh, Indiana, most of her life before moving to Maine in 2015. She worked many years in the housekeeping department at Franklin United Methodist Home in Franklin, Indiana. In her spare time, she loved to watch TV, drink coffee, and spend time with her family.
Barbara was loved tremendously by her daughters, grandchildren, and great-granddaughter.
Survivors include her daughters, Angie (Ron) Slinker of Biddeford, ME; Ginger (Randy) Smith of Columbus, IN; Grandsons, Ronnie Slinker of Biddeford, ME, Thomas Lee Smith of Columbus, IN; Granddaughters, Abbey Slinker of Portland, ME, Kailey Smith of Columbus, IN; Great-Granddaughter Aurora Slinker of Biddeford, ME; and Brother, Chuck (Anne Naylor) Blair of Tierre Verde, FL.
Barbara was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Damon Blair.
A private memorial service will be held on Mt. Agamenticus, in York, ME.
