Lane closures announced on 11th Street for paving

The westbound lanes of 11^th Street between Washington and Jackson streets in Columbus will be closed at 8:30 a.m. Thursday.

Jackson Street between 12^th Street and 11^th Street will also be closed.

Recently there was a water main break in this area and now that the repairs are complete, the area is ready to be repaved, city officials said.

Motorists are asked to avoid the area on Thursday and take a different route.
