Michael A. Bowling passed away September 9, 2019. He was born October 18, 1948 to the late Herschel and Myrthle Oda B. McClung Bowling, in Summersville, WV.
Michael was an outdoors-man who loved deer hunting and his Brown County home. He was a softball enthusiast in his youth, and was an avid sports fan.
Left to cherish Michael’s memory is his loving wife Deborah Lynn Bowling of Nineveh, IN; children, Robert A. (Angie) Bowling, David M. Bowling, and Claire M. Becraft, all of Nashville, IN; son-in-law Michael R. Becraft of Ogilville, IN; and grandchildren Jesse R. Becraft, Herschel R. Bowling, Taylor K. Bowling, and Zayden R. Becraft.
He was preceded in death by his parents Herschel R. and M. Oda B. McClung Bowling; and grandson Shawn Michael Bowling.
Funeral service will be held Friday, September 13, 2019 at 12:00 p.m. with visitation 2 hours prior to service at Forest Lawn Funeral Home, 1977 S. State Rd. 135, Greenwood, IN 46143.
