BCSC accepting Hall of Fame nominations
Bartholomew Consolidated School Corp. is accepting nominations for its Education Hall of Fame.
The award recognizes a teacher, former teacher or administrator for their outstanding service and extraordinary contribution to BCSC.
Nominees must, at the time of employment, be a licensed teacher or administrator and have worked for BCSC for a minimum of 15 years.
The honorees are chosen by a committee of five (teacher, administrator, parent, patron and board member). If not selected, nominations are held and reviewed during the selection process for three years. The recipient is awarded a commemorative plaque and a second plaque is placed in a school location of the recipient’s choice.
Nomination forms are available at bcsc.k12.in.us or call the superintendent’s office at 812-376-4220 or by email at [email protected]. Nominations will be accepted by the superintendent’s office at the BCSC Administration Building, 1200 Central Ave., until Nov. 1st.
Road to close for culvert replacement
County Road 1000E between County Road 400S and the town of Grammer will be closed to all traffic beginning at 8 a.m. Monday, the Bartholomew County Highway Department said.
The road will remain closed until Thursday at 5 p.m. following completion of a culvert replacement.
