Hope Town Square streets to be repaved soon

HOPE – The streets that surround the Hope Town Square will get a new blacktop early this fall.

Road crews are scheduled to mill and pave Main, Washington, Harrison and Jackson streets by the square next month, according to project manager Steve Robertson of Strand Associates.

“All the concrete work is done,” Robertson said. “It’s just a matter of milling and paving.”

Crews have been asked to get the project underway on or after Oct. 7, Robertson said.
