Bartholomew County Sheriff deputies arrested a Hope woman after she was reportedly unconscious behind the wheel of her vehicle which was at a gasoline pump at the Circle K in Taylorsville.
Deputies were sent to the gas station at 12:26 a.m. Monday. Bartholomew County Sheriff’s Deputy Adam Warner located the woman, identified as Tracy Beeker, 53, Hope, and saw several syringes and other drug-related items in plain view in the vehicle, deputies said.
After being taken to Columbus Regional Hospital for treatment, Beeker was transported to the Bartholomew County Jail on preliminary charges of possession of legend drug injection device, possession of marijuana and possession of paraphernalia.
Beeker was being held in jail in lieu of $63,500 bond, jail officials said.
