CLIFFORD

Billy “Bill” Dean Lambrecht, 79, of Clifford, passed away at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, October 15, 2019 at Our Hospice of South Central Indiana Inpatient Facility. Bill was born November 9, 1939, in Bedford, Indiana, the son of William Henry and Faye Marie Wray Lambrecht.

On June 12, 1960, he married the love of his life, Dorothy Miller. Together, they shared 53 years of marriage.

Mr. Lambrecht worked as an engineer at Arvin Industries for 36 years until his retirement in 1995. He sang with the gospel quartet for 30 years and volunteered at the Clifford fish fry for many years.

Bill frequently enjoyed family meals at Montana Mike’s Restaurant and at Sirloin Stockade. He never met a stranger, always had a joke ready and his humorous nature will certainly be missed.

In his spare time, Bill loved to watch the Andy Griffith Show, make peanut butter brittle for hospice, garden, and travel. Spending time with family, especially the grandchildren, brought so much joy to him. He will be truly missed by those that knew him.

Survivors include his children, Kimberly Beecher of Seymour, Karen (Todd) Franklin of Chester, VA., Michael (Tammy) Lambrecht of Brownstown, Mark (Emily) Lambrecht of Columbus; grandchildren, Ryan (Jessica) Beecher, Alison Beecher, Spencer Franklin, Rachel (Keith) Dunn, Alex and Lilly Reynolds, Macy and Carter Lambrecht; great-grandchildren, Keiran Perera, Koda and Averie Beecher.

He was preceded in death by his parents and wife, Dorothy “Dottie” Lambrecht.

The funeral service will be conducted at 10:00 a.m. Saturday at Barkes, Weaver & Glick Funeral Home on Washington Street with Pastor Luke Erb officiating. Visitation will be Friday from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. and Saturday from 9:00 a.m. until the time service at the funeral home.

Burial will be at Flat Rock Baptist Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to Our Hospice of South Central Indiana.
