Lane closures are planned Wednesday and Thursday on the eastbound State Road 46 bridge over the East Fork White River in Columbus for a routine bridge inspection.
Closures are planned as follows:
Wednesday, (9 a.m. to approximately 7 p.m.): Two right lanes closed
Thursday, (9 a.m. to approximately 7 p.m.): Two left lanes closed
Two lanes of traffic will be maintained at all times during the inspection. Friday will be utilized as an alternate date in case of inclement weather.
Motorists should slow down, use caution and drive distraction-free through work zones, the Indiana Department of Transportation said.
