Betty Sue Begley, 70, of Cleveland Street, died at 5:15 a.m. October 30, 2019, at Our Hospice of South Central Indiana Inpatient Facility.
Betty was born October 23, 1949, in Slemp, Kentucky, the daughter of Delmer and Dellere Griffin Cornett. She married Harold Begley in June of 1966.
She actively attended church, and enjoyed singing in the choir and working with the youth. Betty loved to shop and paint. She enjoyed hosting friends and family at her home, always making sure her guests were well fed. Betty especially adored her grandchildren.
The funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday, November 2, 2019, at Jewell-Rittman Family Funeral Home with Pastor Allen Henderson officiating. Calling will be 1 p.m. until time of the service Saturday. Burial will be at Garland Brook Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to Our Hospice of South Central Indiana in honor of Betty.
Survivors include her father, Delmer Cornett of Kentucky; husband, Harold; son, Scott (Melissa) Begley of Columbus; brother, Ronnie Cornett and sisters, Debbie Hoover, Linda Cornett and Kay Caudill; and grandchildren, Sophia Begley, Mila Begley and Chloe Begley.
She was preceded in death by her mother; a son, Timothy L. Begley; and a brother, Robbie Cornett.
