COLUMBUS
Richard Dale Clark, 74, of Columbus, passed from this life Wednesday, November 6, 2019 at his home.
Mr. Clark was born December 4, 1944, in Bedford, Indiana, the son of Gerald K. and Helen V. Davis Clark.
He married Patricia A. Blythe, May 29, 1964. She preceded him in death April 11, 2017.
Richard retired from Cummins Engine Company in 2004 after 40 years of service. He was a member of Lakeview Church of Christ.
He enjoyed gardening, reading, going to movies and I.U. Basketball.
Survivors include his sons, Gary (Michele) Clark of Columbus and Matt (Laura) Clark of Fort Wayne; grandchildren, Adam, Noah, Elizabeth, Joshua, Joel and Sarah Clark; and his sisters, Louella Cagle of Bedford and Janice (Glen) Westbrook of Texas.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife; and brothers, Leroy Clark and Kenneth Clark.
A funeral service will be conducted at 10:00 a.m. Monday at Barkes, Weaver & Glick Funeral Home on Washington Street with Jerry Lancaster officiating.
Family and friends may call from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. Sunday and 9:00 a.m. to time of service Monday at the funeral home.
Burial will be at Garland Brook Cemetery.
