2 p.m. update:
Columbus police have released additional details from the State Road 11 accident in which two drivers were injured.
Police said a 2010 Dodge van driven by Lester Solomon, 63, Columbus was northbound on State Road 11 and was seen by witnesses reportedly weaving in the roadway before he crossed left of center and struck a truck driven by Kenneth Blackburn, 44, of Indianapolis head on. Blackburn was driving a 2013 Dodge Ram truck.
The crash caused Blackburn’s vehicle to strike a utility pole and also caused a gas leak in the area. Approximately six homes in the area were evacuated until the gas could be shut off.
Blackburn had a complaint of pain but was not seriously injured.
Solomon reportedly had a broken leg, broken shoulder and a head injury.
The crash remains under investigation.

First responders are preparing to reopen State Road 11 near County Road 200S after accident cleanup and capping of a gas leak caused by the accident.
