• Shelly and Michael for helping my Mom at Sam’s Club when she became ill, from Dawn Mayes.

• Joseph Spears/Santa for making our Christmas tradition on Christmas Eve once again very special — we are very blessed to have Santa into our home year after year and couldn’t do it without you, love, Mike and Casey Eudy.

• Columbus free Methodist Church for a beautiful candlelight service on Tuesday night.

• Jerry and Diane Mihay for the delicious pumpkin roll, it was very much appreciated.

• Pat and Jim Richard’s for the delicious cheeseball and gifts for our girls, we appreciate you all. from the Freemans.

• Democrats for walking the talk of truly loving our great country.

• First Lutheran Church pastor Larry Isbell and the choirs for a beautiful Christmas Eve service.

• Amanda Cash for the thank-you note: it was nice to receive a thank-you from my carrier — it was appreciated, from Teri.

• the anonymous person for the Christmas bouquet — they were beautiful, from the lady on Brooks Street.

Onions to …

• anyone in denial that the Obama administration spied on the Trump campaign; it is well-documented that they did.

• anyone that thinks the President of the United States is not doing a fantastic job.

• the Facebook grownup damsel in distress who has been given so many perks in life yet berates her family with lies hoping to get sympathy.

• the group that cancels the hamfest after 36 years, but as soon as someone else wants to host it they are suddenly glad to help out.

• the farmer east of town who planted the radishes causing the nauseous odor on warm days.

• not realizing the real doomsday scenario we need to worry about is a liberal Democrat running as a Republican who will never have any opposition and can win as long as he or she wants.

• a fast food restaurant with 25-minute drive-thru wait times and that give cold food.

• all deadbeat parents who make it hard on the custodial parent this time of year.

• the big box store on the west side of town that never has sale items in stock, won’t give you the sorry slip, but has the item on the shelf the day after the sale ends.
