The Indiana Department of Education recently announced recipients of K-12 STEM grants, which help certain districts accelerate, scale, or implement STEM curriculum. STEM is an acronym for Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics.
Two area school systems received 2019 STEM Acceleration grants, the Jennings County School Corporation and the Edinburgh Community School Corporation. A portion of the funds is used to improve elementary and secondary student participation in STEM-related projects.
