– 4 to 5:15 p.m., Bartholomew County Public Library, 536 Fifth St., Columbus. Join us for a brick building good time! Lego Club no longer requires a ticket to attend. Drop in, stay as little or long as you’d like. Complete a challenge to have your piece displayed in the case.
First Fridays For Families: Mario The Maker Magician
– 6 to 7 p.m., The Commons, 300 Block of Washington Street, Columbus. First Fridays for Families introduces young audiences to a wide variety of performing arts in a fun, informal setting. Performances are free and open to everyone. January’s program is "Mario the Maker Magician!" An award-winning children’s performer, Mario is known for the integration of DIY electronics and robotics in his show, inspiring kids to dream up their own creations. It’s a modern take on old school vaudeville and slapstick: upbeat, interactive, rock ‘n’ roll and hilarious.
