The 2010s were a big decade for girls high school basketball in Columbus.
Columbus North rose to statewide prominence with a Class 4A state championship in 2015, state runner-up finishes in 2012 and 2016 and another final four appearance in 2017. In all, the Bull Dogs won six consecutive sectional titles from 2012-17.
Meanwhile, Columbus East captured sectional championships in 2011 and 2018, recapturing some of the magic that sparked the Olympians to final four appearances and a state runner-up finish the previous decade.
