Patberg, Hoosiers move up to 12th

Indiana University women’s basketball point guard Ali Patberg finished with a game-high 19 points, including going 4 for 4 from 3-point range, two rebounds, two assists and two steals in a 83-42 win vs. Illinois on Monday.

Patberg, a redshirt junior from Columbus North, had nine points, four rebounds and four assists in a 66-56 win over Rutgers on Tuesday.

The Hoosiers, currently ranked No. 12 in the latest AP poll, are 13-2 overall and 3-0 in the Big Ten Conference.

Huffman contributes

Cedarville guard Ashlyn Huffman, a junior from North, finished with four points, six rebounds and seven assists in a 77-55 win over Ohio Dominican on Thursday.

The Yellow Jackets are 11-3 overall and 4-1 in the Great Midwest Athletic Conference.

Williams nets victories

Marian forward Elle Williams finished with two points, six rebounds and four assists in a 73-69 overtime win over Grace College Saturday.

Williams, a senior from North, had four points, three steals and two assists in a 75-43 win over Madonna.

The Knights are 14-2.

Williams scores wins

Hanover forward Kevin Williams finished with 16 points and four rebounds in a 65-57 win over Dubuque Dec. 30.

Williams, a senior from Columbus East, had 19 points and four rebounds in a 76-65 win over Wheaton Dec. 31.

The Panthers are 8-3 overall and 2-2 in the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference.

King starts in loss

Army forward Alex King, a junior from North, scored 13 points and had three rebounds in a 67-65 loss to Bucknell Thursday.

The Black Knights are 5-7.
