Megan Ashley Day, 30, of Seymour passed from this life on Thursday, January 9, 2020 at 12:35 a.m. at I.U. Health Methodist Hospital.
Megan was born on March 9, 1989 in Houston, Texas the daughter of Michael S. and R. Michelle Day.
Megan was a 2008 graduate of Columbus North High School and was an administrative assistant. She enjoyed spending time with her kids and family. She also enjoyed the outdoors. She loved bow hunting, bow fishing, sunshine, sunsets, and the ocean.
Survivor include her parents, Michael S. and Michelle Day of Columbus; daughters, Lilly and Haley Schuerman of Spraytown; sisters, Elizabeth & Stan Scott of Franklin, Carrie Day of Redwood City, California, and Anna Day of Greenwood; other half siblings survivor out of state; grandparents, Judy K. Baxter and Don and Linda Day; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Harry R. Baxter.
Services were entrusted to Barkes, Weaver & Glick Funeral Home.
In honor of Megan memorial contributions may be given to the National Wildlife Foundation through the funeral home.
In keeping with Megan’s wishes cremation will take place and there will be private family services.
