EDINBURGH
Verl D. Weaver, 94 of Edinburgh, Indiana passed away January 9, 2020 at his residence. He was born May 25, 1925 in Washington Court House, Ohio. He was the son of John H. Weaver and Bessie M. (Williams) Schauer.
He married Rosetta M. (Rosemeier) Weaver and later married Patsy L. (Burton) Weaver and she preceded him in death.
He is survived by his daughter, Vicky L. Hemmes of Las Vegas, New Mexico, and three grandchildren, one great-grandchild, and one great-great grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Patsy, son, Rick Weaver, daughter, Lenora Rydahl, and brothers, Carl E. Weaver, Earl E. Weaver, Carol R. Schauer, and Monte A. Schauer.
Verl was a WWII Navy Veteran and a member of the Teamsters Union. As a truck driver he drove over five million miles before retiring in 1990.
He enjoyed helping others, working on both cars and trucks, and building things.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at a later date.
