1) Parents can enjoy something of a date night after dropping off their youngsters ages 5 to 12 to explore science and more at the kidscommons museum’s STEAM After Dark from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday at the venue at 309 Washington St. in downtown Columbus. The gathering will include a superhero theme. A pizza dinner will be provided. The program is among the museum’s more popular offerings, according to organizers. 2) Another Round, Indiana University’s premier all-male a cappella group, brings what promoters tout as its rich harmonies and signature sense of humor to a concert at 7:30 p.m. Saturday at the Brown County Playhouse at 70 S. Van Buren St. in Nashville. The group’s founding members have recorded on Atlantic Records.
3) The Indiana University J. Irwin Miller Architecture Program presents the free exhibition "10 X Relay" in the gallery at The Republic Building, 333 Second St. in downtown Columbus. The theme focuses on the passing back and forth of ideas in painting is like the relay and return of the knotted patterns in the game of cat’s cradle, according to organizers. An opening reception will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Jan. 23. There will be a panel discussion with the artists at that time. The exhibition will run through Feb. 27.
