Ideas and prizes highlight this year’s Bridal Show

Couples who are tying the knot soon will find nearly everything they need to plan the big event Sunday at the Republic Bridal Show.

The event will be 1 to 4 p.m. Sunday at The Commons, 300 Washington St. Admission is free.

The show will feature dozens of vendors and booths, including representatives from caterers, dress shops, photographers, videographers, wellness, venue options and travel agencies.

Brides and grooms can check out the latest styles of dresses and tuxes, with several dress and tuxedo shops providing exhibits at the event.

Engaged couples can also decide between multiple catering options from a variety of vendors.

There will also be representatives from several wellness organizations to help couples get in shape before their big day.

Representatives from venues options that include some outdoor possibilities for weddings and receptions have also signed up for booths at the event.

The Republic will be giving away three cash prizes, “Bridal Bucks,” which are valued at $500, $200 and $100.

The “Bridal Bucks” may be used at one or more of the vendors who are participating in the show.
