• local officials for turning down the ridiculous Second Amendment Sanctuary resolution which was intended to undermine our democracy, not unlike Putin making Trump president.

• The Republic for its featured front page article on “A Late Bloomer,” recognizing the wonderful service Just Friends provides to our community.

• the court reporter at the hearing at Ivy Tech Tuesday for trying to improve the sound system.

• the Madison Fire Department for coming to rescue my daughter’s cat that got up into a tree and couldn’t get back down.

• the used book store on Central Avenue for calling me and telling me they overcharged me $1.15, wonderful customer service.

• Jewell Rittman for taking care of everything and doing such a wonderful job for my mom.

• a certain stable genius for his recent efforts to have a Middle Eastern peace plan.

• the staff in the emergency department and sixth tower for your care during my recent hospital stay.

Onions to …

• lawyers for the federal elected official who said information in a recent book about the Ukraine is not relevant or admissible, our country needs to know and is owed the truth, let U.S. citizens know the truth.

• people who still think gun control equals gun bans when we’ve moved passed that talking point.

• those that don’t realize if marijuana became legal many more people would drive impaired causing traffic accidents and fatalities.

• the federal elected official’s new plan to cut Medicaid funding, which will affect children, people in nursing homes and the disabled.

• the political party for being the sorest losers this country has ever seen.

• the political party members who insist on enforcing marijuana laws on one hand, and on the other hand insist on not enforcing gun laws.

• the health care monopoly.

• elected officials who claim to value transparency and complain about lack of due process, while at the same time blocking testimony from key witnesses and withholding pertinent documents.

• the elected city leader who says our tax money is working when drug overdose deaths increased 35% last year.

• the big corporation that acts so high and mighty for having the nerve to let go of people who are providing food and shelter for their families.

• saying all the rights we have are God-given, they are man-given — lots of wars fought for them, and lots more wars will be fought for them.

• those who don’t seem to understand that the other side will get to call witnesses also.

• the church-going man in the shop who is filled with so much hate.
