Columbus Chapter of Hindu Swayamsevak Sangh, a voluntary, non-profit, social and cultural organization that works on preserving and promoting Hindu culture and selfless values, will celebrate "Yoga for Health, Health for Humanity" from 7:30 to 10:30 a.m. today in the gym of First Presbyterian Church, 512 Seventh St. in downtown Columbus.
The gathering, also known as "Surya Namaskara Yagna," has been celebrated worldwide for more than 14 years, according to organizers.
In support of this initiative, the local chapter will have a Surynamaskar Yogathon event. The gathering will include a sun salutation activity. All are welcome.
