HAYDEN — Valentine cards belonging to the late Glen Morrison will be on display at the Hayden Historical Museum during the month of February. Morrison graduated from Hayden High School in 1920 and then taught school at Hayden for 48 years.
The Valentine collection ranges from the time when Morrison was a student through the years when he was a teacher. One of the cards was from a student that he taught who went on to become the governor of Indiana.
Gentlemen looking for that special Valentine gift for their wife or girlfriend can make a $20 donation and get the museum’s recently published cookbook, "Hayden’s Favorite Recipes Thru the Generations."
The museum’s regular hours are Mondays from 4 until 5:30 p.m. and Wednesdays from 4 to 8 p.m. People can also call 812-592-8445 or email [email protected] to arrange a visit.
