The National Weather Service in Indianapolis has issued a flood warning for the Driftwood River near Edinburgh from late tonight through late Wednesday night.
The weather service said the river was at 7.5 feet at 9:30 a.m. Monday and flood stage is 11 feet. Minor flooding is forecast.
Emergency management officials expect the Driftwood to rise above flood stage late tonight and continue to rise to 12.2 feet by Tuesday night. The river is expected to fall below flood stage by Wednesday afternoon.
