Schneck scholarship applications available

SEYMOUR — The Schneck Guild is now accepting applications for the Kim Quilleon Varnell Memorial Scholarship. The guild awards up to three $1,000 scholarships annually to past Junior Volunteers who are graduating high school seniors.

To be eligible, a candidate must be a past Junior Volunteer at Schneck Medical Center and completed the minimum 28 hour requirement for the summer, a graduating high school senior, and enrolled in college planning a career in the healthcare field.

Applications are available online at schneckmed.org/scholarships.

Completed applications must be submitted no later than March 31 to Amy Cockerham, Schneck Medical Center Guild, 411 West Tipton St., Seymour, IN 47274.

Society announces available scholarship

Tau Chapter of Delta Kappa Gamma Society International is offering a $2,000 non-renewable scholarship to an incoming senior-level IUPUC student who is pursuing a degree in the field of education. Applicants must reside in Bartholomew County during the 2019-2020 school year and plan to attend the university as a full-time student. Applications are available through the IUPUC Division of Education Academic Advisor’s office. Completed applications are due in this office by April 1.
