Bill Stamper, 79, of Carmel, formerly of Columbus, died Tuesday, February 25, 2020 at his residence

He had lived in Columbus for approximately 50 years. He was employed as a mechanical engineer at Cummins Engine Company for 30 years. Bill was an accomplished amateur photographer who took countless beautiful photographs of his travels over Europe as well as many pictures of unsuspecting family members at holiday gatherings. He was an audio-buff with an eclectic taste ranging from the vocals of Judy Collins and Celtic harmonies to his beloved classical. He is survived by his sister Cindy, nieces Nancy, Saylor, Janet, and Monica, and nephews Dan, Mike, Nick, Noah, Jace, and Nate.

In keeping with Mr. Stamper’s wishes, cremation will take place and there will be no public services. Private inurnment will be at Garland Brook Mausoleum.
