Cummins broadens company-wide travel restrictions

Cummins Inc. has broadened company-wide travel restrictions implemented in response to the global outbreak of a new type of coronavirus that has spread to more than 95 countries and created havoc in financial markets.

Cummins’ travel restrictions, which were initially issued for parts of China and later expanded to parts of Italy and South Korea, now include all commercial domestic and international flights, said company spokesman Jon Mills.

“Last week, we implemented a global travel restriction for all commercial domestic and international flights through March 31, but we are evaluating other actions on an ongoing basis and continue to reassess current measures we have in place,” he said.
