With school’s empty of students on spring break, construction crews began the multi-million-dollar renovation projects at Columbus North and East high schools.

Business leaders taking a survey by Columbus Area Chamber of Commerce and Indiana Gas Co. gave the city high marks for image, infrastructure, education system and environment but pointed out the community’s ongoing struggle with labor and affordable housing shortages.

J. Irwin and Xenia Miller donated Henry Moore’s sculpture, “Large Arch,” to adorn the plaza in front of the new Cleo Rogers Memorial Library.
