The National Weather Service in Indianapolis has issued a flood warning for the Driftwood River near Edinburgh from late Sunday night to Wednesday morning.
At 1:30 p.m. Sunday, the river was at 9.9 feet with flood stage at 11 feet. Minor flooding is forecast, according to Bartholomew County Emergency Management.
Forecasters are predicting the Driftwood will rise above flood state late Sunday night and continue to rise to near 12.5 feet by tonight. It is projected to fall below food stage Tuesday night.
