• the stores that remain open and are doing a great job at keeping restocked and cleaned nightly.

• mayors, governors, and health care workers who are stepping up to fill the incredible leadership vacuum in Washington.

• the dog owner who lets their big brown dog bark all the time.
• those even considering giving some businesses preferential treatment.
• the people from other towns who don’t have kids that go to Bartholomew County schools or any kids at all who were lying to get free food.
• the local former elected official for always criticizing our school system and the lack of support for our teachers and kids, many taxpayers support them!
• the person who doesn’t understand if I am getting gas, which is essential, I might as well go ahead and get my lottery tickets and cigarettes during the same trip.
• people not realizing this could become a seasonal virus and we can’t run and hide in our closets every time.
• the newly-formed “essential police” who think they can accurately judge what is essential and what isn’t.
• those who disagree with a letter to the editor which someone puts their name on and resorts to anonymous personal attacks in the onions.
• all the vandals in Columbus — shame on you!
• the people who don’t understand this pandemic is a fluid situation and is changing by the hour which is why there will be a change to the “rhetoric.”
• the men still flying the disrespectful flag during these trying times.
• letter writer for stating in her referendum letter that teachers got a 2.5% raise when that is false — can’t believe everything you see or hear from the school corporation.
• the people who have forgotten Americans don’t hide in closets with a pillow over our heads saying “la-la-la” until a problem goes away.
• those who use “used car sales tactics” to pressure buyers.
• the school administrator who told us to pause, but then her office bombed social media all weekend with posts about how to teach.
• no one mentioning it’s mentally unhealthy to stay isolated this long.
• the former local official who should seek help and stop writing letters to the editor.
• everyone who doesn’t understand what social distancing and staying at home means by still allowing visitors to come over acting like this virus is nothing and prolonging the problem.
• the former local official who is not grateful for what public education employees do for our community.
• those who don’t realize the toilet paper shortage is just “not enough tissue at hand for the issue at hand.”
• the school corporation that is expecting its teachers to administer too much instruction and schoolwork online as families are stressed and overwhelmed in this high-stress situation.
• anyone thinking God had anything good to say about this president.
• those who brought forth this plague by blaming God for the mistake of our electoral system.
• the federal elected official who thinks he should get respect for being a failure at being a leader.
• China, where were you hiding the protective gear you recently delivered trying to make the U.S. look bad?
• those who don’t realize that during a health crisis, you are far better off taking advice from a real doctor rather than a spin doctor.
• the non-seniors who shop during senior-only hours at food, pharmacy and other stores, please respect our time and concerns about our vulnerable age group.
• whoever thinks the test buses are essential when it would take just one accident to send people to the hospital needlessly.
• those who complain about socialism, they should return their government handout check when it comes.
• the former fiscal conservatives who are now running up our nation’s debt two levels that we can never pay down.
• the last four Republican presidents who presided over the four worst stock market disasters in our nation’s history.
• churches still having congregational services — even the Lord can’t protect foolishness.
• businesses about to learn the meaning of John Mellencamp’s lyric, “but we keep no check on our appetites, so the green fields turn to brown like paper in fire.”
• the real estate board members who harass young adults, just because they are renting instead of owning property.
• our government for getting this stimulus out to people to put back to the economy when you can’t even go out to spend it.
• grocery stores that won’t tell you what they have in stock.
• stores that are price gouging for things like toilet paper.
• the new people who have moved in our area and go down the alley way too fast.
• all the parents who are bringing their children into stores.
• closing playgrounds but leaving the skate park open.
• the business for cutting employees to one day a week instead of laying them off so they can draw unemployment.
• the teens who caused damage all over town with cans of spray paint and their parents.
• the people who write letters to the editor and then give themselves orchids in the paper.
