Bartholomew County has been upgraded to an enhanced risk of severe weather tonight, Bartholomew County Emergency Management said.
Severe thunderstorms are possible tonight, mainly from 7 p.m. Wednesday to 1 a.m. Thursday, according to the National Weather Service.
Damaging winds, large hail, and isolated tornadoes are the primary severe threats. Frequent lightning and locally heavy rain are also possible.
Emergency management will continue to post watches and warnings when and if they are issued, said Shannan Hinton, emergency management director.
