Clifton Droddy Jr., 74, of Shelbyville, passed away on May 12, 2020 at VA Roudabush Hospital in Indianapolis, IN. Clifton was born May 27, 1945 in Louisiana to parents Gertrude Willis and Clifton Droddy Sr. both deceased. Clifton is also proceeded in death by two children Benjamin Willis Droddy and Heather Droddy.
Clifton is survived by his wife Anita Droddy, a daughter Erin Eckart and her husband Chris Eckart and their children, Erin’s mother Judy Droddy, a son Tyrone Anderson and his wife Jennifer and their three children, and step-daughter Sierra Patterson. Clifton is also survived by siblings, James E. Droddy, Barbara Jean Adams, Sandra Lynn Hargrove, Cheryl Ann Wingo, Michael Droddy, and several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
Clifton was a long-time Veterans Service Officer for Shelby County. Clifton was a member of the Grace United Methodist Church in Franklin, IN, Double Y Saddle County, and he was also active in the Emmaus Community for several years. Clifton is a US Army Vietnam Veteran.
A Celebration of Life service will be held at a later date. He will be interred at Indiana Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Madison, IN.
