• the lady who paid for our pizza at Papa Murphy’s on Monday.

• Columbus Cycling & Fitness for the great fast service on my bike, you guys are the best!

• the organizers and participants of the Solidarity Rally, it was great to see how concerned citizens, local government and law enforcement can speak as one voice for positive change and made me proud of Columbus.

• Thomas Dunn Publishers for its second edition of "The Dangerous Case of Donald Trump: 37 Psychiatrists and Mental Health Experts Assess a President’s Fitness to Serve."

• the growing number of military leaders who remind us their loyalty is to the Constitution rather than the president.

• Lee Hamilton for his article and, stating publicly, what the majority feels about the job that our nation’s leader is not doing and the path where it is leading us.

• all those bravely standing up to protest racial inequality and and authority practices in the U.S.

• Drew Brees, from a fifth Army veteran.

• Lee Hamilton’s excellent column in Thursday’s paper, from Anne.

• Kitty King for the printer cartridges, from Anne.

• all of the people who voted for the referendum.

• Greg Dinkins’ letter about the pandemic.

• the lady who works at Centra Credit Union on National Road for giving me a new mask.

• the very considerate people who helped me up after I fell on Thursday afternoon on Rocky Ford Road.

Onions to …

• the federal elected official for only being capable of pretending to be a good leader thus dividing the country.

• the elected official making light of the current news of the day on social media, we need compassion, not arrogance.

• those who are so outraged if all protesters are blamed for the crimes a few commit, but have no problem blaming all police officers for the crimes a few commit.

• all the people working together to destroy this great country of ours, because of their dislike for the federal elected official.

• our once great country now being made not so great for the past three years, along with the many who enable the person responsible for our downturn.

• people who put a criminal on a pedestal for political gain.

• anyone who cares what the former elected official has to say.

• people who don’t understand rioting and looting are not peaceful protest and citizens and their property need protection from anarchy and theft, if it’s not yours, don’t touch it!

• people supporting rioting and looting.

• the obsessive federal elected official complaining, who obviously has nothing better to do with his time.

• the federal elected official who hid in a bunker, just like another infamous leader did in 1945.

• the brutality of the bad people, and the silence of the good.

• all those complicit with authoritative actions taken by the current administration.

• the letter supporting our government the way it was under the former elected official.

• the state agency for not answering the phone.

• those against citizens exercising their First Amendment right.

• those in authority, and who have the power to do so, who have not removed a leader who is obviously severely mentally unstable.

• people who should take time and research what Black Lives Matter really wants and strives for before they blindly support it.

• the athlete who chose to bend the knee to the protesters.

• whoever stole our gloves and stands from our front yard.
