HILTON HEAD, South Carolina — Tyler Duncan carded an even-par 71 in Thursday’s opening round and is tied for 85th in the RBC Heritage.

Duncan, a 2008 Columbus North graduate, birdied two of the first three holes. But he bogeyed No. 9 and No. 12 to slip back to par.

The even-par round was the fourth in a row for Duncan, who shot even-par 70s in each of the final three rounds last weekend in the Charles Schwab Challenge.
