Local restaurants, activities and architecture were featured on “Savor Indiana,” a WRTV 6 program that featured the state’s interesting dining venues, lodging, children’s activities, community history, shopping venues and food manufacturers.

1995

Bartholomew County was designated by the U.S. Department of Defense as a “commemorative community,” one of only a few in the state, in recognition of Celebration ‘95, a community event honoring military veterans and celebrating the 50th anniversary of the end of World War II.

1970

Rezoning was approved for 30 acres of land for the development of a shopping center and apartment complex north of National Road between the Penn Central Railroad tracks and Everroad Park West subdivision.
