HILTON HEAD, South Carolina — Tyler Duncan tied for the day’s best round, an 8-under-par 63 Friday, to move into a tie for 11th place when the RBC Heritage was suspended late in the afternoon because of lightning.
Duncan, a 2008 Columbus North graduate, recorded eight birdies and no bogeys. Starting on the back nine at Harbour Town Golf Links, he shot 4-under 31 on the front and 4-under 32 on the back.
Duncan, who was tied for 85th after an even-par 71 in Thursday’s opening round, sits at 8-under 134 through 36 holes.
