Asbury United Methodist Church — The church has suspended in-person worship and will have an online service each Sunday morning. You may view the weekly video at www.asburycolumbus.org/latest-worship.

Cornerstone Outreach Ministries — A nondenominational ministry at 1229 California St., Columbus. Sunday worship services are at 10 a.m.

Dayspring Church Apostolic — Worship begins at 11:15 a.m. at the church, 2127 Doctors Park Drive, Columbus. Every visitor will receive a free gift.

The Sunday Education Session starts at 10 a.m.

Bible Study is Tuesday at 5:30 p.m. and is a group session sponsored by Heart Changers International, LLC on Depression, Perfection and Anger with hand out questions. These help build our Personal Empowerment and walk.

Our Prayer of Power starts at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday and is preceded with requests and instructions on prayer.

Ignite is the Youth Growth Session that happens every third Friday.

East Columbus United Methodist — Sunday Morning Worship will resume at East Columbus United Methodist Church, at 2439 Indiana Ave., on Sunday, June 21 at 9:30 a.m. Sunday Morning Worship will resume with the implementation of the recommended in-person worship guidelines. We will apply the social distancing guidelines, which include requesting a face covering (face masks will be provided for those who need one), seating every other pew, no passing of offering plates, no handshaking or hugging and the use of pre-packaged communion supplies.

At this time there will not be Fellowship Time, Children’s Church, Sunday School or Evening Service. The weekly service will continue to be available for viewing on-line through our Facebook page or on our YouTube channel.

Fairlawn Presbyterian — Weekly worship service on Sundays at 9:30 a.m. via Zoom (links and numbers below or folks can check fairlawnpc.net or visit our Facebook page for login and phone information).

Faith Lutheran Church — The church will live stream worship each Sunday on Facebook at Faith Lutheran Church—Columbus Indiana.

The church is also meeting in person each Sunday at 9 a.m., following specific health guidelines. Live streaming daily prayer most week days at 8 a.m. and 6:30 p.m. All are welcome to worship our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

First Christian Church — The church will only be having an online service at 10:30 a.m. on Facebook (www.facebook.com/FCCOC) and at www.fccoc.org/sunday/watch-now.

First Baptist — The church will not be holding public worship gatherings at present. The church does offer a live stream worship connection at 9:30 a.m. on Sundays.

First Lutheran Church — The church has begun in-person worship services. Sunday morning worship times are 8:45 a.m. for the Classic Service and 11:15 a.m. for the Casual Service.

First Presbyterian — First Presbyterian Church has canceled all in-person gatherings, including worship and committee meetings, and the office is closed until further notice. If you need to be in touch, please call 812-372-3783 and leave a message, and the church will be back in touch with you as soon as possible.

First United Methodist — On Sunday, June 21, at 8:30 a.m., Howard Boles will deliver the message “A Father’s Message for Times Like These: Mercy” at the church, 618 Eighth Street. The scripture will be Luke 15:11-32. Doors for the service will be opened at 8 a.m., and we ask that you enter through the Narthex doors (on 8th Street) or through the Lafayette St. doors.

Hand sanitizer will be available at the entrances to the sanctuary. We ask that everyone attending wear a mask while they are in the building. We will have masks available if you don’t have one. We will be practicing social distancing, and we will be taking other precautions to help ensure everyone’s health and safety.

For those of you that aren’t able to make it to the in-person service or are not yet comfortable meeting in person, we will continue to have a 10 a.m. live stream of our service on our Facebook page, and it will be available on our church website for later viewing as well.

FUMC will be offering a hybrid VBS open to the community—Compassion Camp. Beginning the week of June 29, we will have a 5-week experience with materials provided for each week. Families will have the option of completing the activities at their leisure. Each week will include a video and, if weather and COVID restrictions permit, one small in-person gathering. Flintwood Wesleyan — The church is located at 5300 E. 25th St.

In response to the current COVID-19 situation, Flintwood Wesleyan Church is canceling all midweek services and activities.

Sunday worship services resumed with the implementation of the recommended in-person worship guidelines.

North Christian Church — Rev. Tonja Gerardy is continuing Sunday services at 10:30 a.m. each Sunday morning via YouTube. Find North Christian Church Columbus Indiana and join us.

In addition, please join the fun and lively conversation via Zoom on Tuesday afternoons, beginning at 3:30 p.m. We will continue to explore Biblical characters whose lives unraveled. As we do so, perhaps we will gain some insight in how to cope with the things that have unraveled in our own lives. Each session is wholly independent from the others, so you can choose to “come and go,” as you are able. There is no book to purchase or any advance reading to complete. Old Union United Church of Christ — Scriptures for the 10 a.m. Sunday service with social distancing will include Genesis 21:8-21, Romans 6:1b-11, Matthew 10:24-39. The message will be “Blessed Be the Tie That Binds.”

We will apply the social distancing guidelines, which includes no one permitted without a face covering (face masks will be provided for those who need one), space two arm-widths apart for non-relatives seating, seating every other pew, no fellowship in the basement, no passing of the peace, no handshaking or hugging.

Petersville United Methodist Church — The Petersville United Methodist Church will begin having in-person worship service at 9 a.m. Sunday morning June 21. The Rev. Stormy Scherer-Berry asks that those attending should wear their masks, and practice social distancing. There will not be a time of fellowship and refreshments on this particular Sunday.

Sandy Hook United Methodist — Sandy Hook United Methodist Church has canceled all public worship services and meetings. Weekly messages are available on our Facebook Page or the Pastor Stephen W. Austin YouTube channel.

St. Paul’s Episcopal Church — All in-person activities at the church are suspended until further notice. Sunday Eucharist is being hosted on ZOOM at 10:15 a.m. each Sunday morning.

St. Paul Lutheran — In person communion worship services will be held Sunday at St. Paul Lutheran Church, 6045 E. State St., at 8, 9:30 and 11 a.m. following all CDC guidelines for social distancing.

Pastor Doug Bauman’s message is entitled “Fear or No Fear?” based on Matthew 10:5a, 21-33.

The Spanish Worship service will be at 11 a.m. in the Fellowship Room conducted by Vicar Dan Fickenscher.

Radio Worship Service every Sunday at 8:30 a.m. on 1010 AM and 98.1 FM.

Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Columbus — At this time, the church has postponed in-person gatherings until further notice. Please join the church virtually. Follow the church on Facebook or visit uucci.org for more information.

Westside Community — WCC has resumed in-facility worship with the implementation of the recommended guidelines. As a courtesy to all, MASKS ARE REQUIRED. Limited seating will be available to allow for distancing.

We are recommending older adults attend the 8:45 a.m. service, and young families and all others attend the 10:15 a.m. service. We encourage at-risk individuals to remain at home, and those who have, or have recently had, symptoms to remain at home. Each worship is planned for 30-45 minutes to minimize potential exposure.

When able, WCC has plans to host a community-wide garage sale. Be on the lookout for more details in the upcoming weeks. If interested in participating, while you are stuck at home this might be a good time to clean out your basements, closets, garages, etc.

Events

North Christian Church — The church is temporarily suspending all church activities, effective immediately and for the foreseeable future due to caution concerning the coronavirus outbreak. The offices of the pastor and staff members will be closed as well. The church will reopen as soon as recommended by health officials.

South Central Indiana Christian Men’s Fellowship — The June meeting will be a Zoom meeting starting at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday, June 23. Sign on will begin at 7:05 p.m.

This should get you into the meeting.
