Hundreds of cyclists passed through Columbus, riding coast to coast in a 3,000-mile endurance race called Race Across America.

Anxious to avoid creating problems at the landfill, the parking meters that were removed from Columbus streets as part of the city’s latest parking plan were offered for sale in a public auction.

More than $360 in cash and three handguns were reported taken in 12 burglaries or attempted break-ins in several homes and a business in the northeastern section of Columbus, all believed to have been done by the same person.
