Outstanding American history students awarded

Joseph Hart Chapter recently announced the Bartholomew County Middle and High School Outstanding American History Students for the 2019-20 school year.

Six of the 11 schools participated. The winners are chosen by their Social Studies teacher and receive an official National Society Daughters of the American Revolution certificate. First place winners receive a monetary award.

Columbus East High School: Zachary Brunnemer, Sarah Montanez Hidalgo, Lauren Ulrich.

Hauser Senior High School: Emily Harker, Addison Jones,Danielle Steward.

Columbus Christian School: Jenna Hackworth (11th grade), Bryce Campbell (8th grade).

St. Peter’s Lutheran School (8th graders): Kaitlin White, Alexander Cognata, Erin Walters.

Central Middle School: Kenzie Pendleton, Keegan Harris, Austin Clark.

Northside Middle School: Savannah Fellows, Charlotte Hanley, Michelle Caldwell.
