• the employees at PNC Bank on 25th Street for always greeting customers with a smile and going the extra mile, they genuinely make their customers feel appreciated.

• all the courteous and intelligent people wearing masks until we get through this virus outbreak.

• Indianapolis Mayor Joe Hogsett for requiring masks when in public, all counties need to follow that example.

• prayers being said for our daughter Cheryl Thompson, from her parents, Jim and Wanda Ferguson.

• Matt of Montgomery Appliance Repair in Seymour for being prompt and honest.

• Sharon Mangas and Mike for her column, it’s precisely what some of us needed.

• Patriotic Auto Parts on U.S. 31 for their great service fixing my car, from a patriotic customer.

• the federal elected official who on a daily basis shows his careless and utter disregard for the health, safety, and the rights of U.S. citizens.

• the top official whose only goal is to get re-elected.

• inconsiderate neighbors setting off loud fireworks every night, scaring the elderly, people with PTSD and dogs.

• those who don’t see the similarity between ISIS tearing down historical art in Iraq and what’s happening in our own streets.

• the previous federal elected official who showed nothing but disdain for the Constitution.

• government having public meetings with only indoor meeting spaces and no online options putting seniors at risk.

• the federal elected official using the Lincoln Memorial, a church, a shrine, West Point graduation and Mount Rushmore as a political photo op backdrop.

• the official who states the coronavirus will just go away.

• those making a short-term need to wear masks into a personal liberty issue.

• the local religious congregation mailing out written letters harassing residents about their beliefs.

• rioters, looters and those tearing down art.

• using $650,000 in a year to prop up a failing golf course that was dumped on the city by a big business.

• those who decry “once a Marine always a Marine” except when it pertains to the federal elected official.

• taking ownership of three failing golf courses and then wondering what to do with them because they continue to fail.

• those who don’t understand if you would go back to 1960 prices for a round of golf you would have more business than you could handle.

• the fact that hysteria is a faster spreading virus than Covid-19.

• store workers who are wearing their face masks on their chin or with their nose hanging out.

• those who have nothing to do but complain about those not wearing a mask or gloves.

• the federal elected official who is more concerned about protecting our Russian enemies than U.S. soldiers.

• the federal elected official and his failed leadership in this outbreak whose ignorance and incompetence has resulted in Americans being banned for travel to Europe.

• having to choose between law and order or socialism.

• the federal elected official pushing the court to eliminate the Affordable Care Act and pre-existing conditions in a pandemic.

• those complaining about not enough test sites, they need to learn to take care of themselves and go to the hospital or family doctor to be tested.

• the business not giving any Fourth of July holiday to their workers just because it’s on Saturday.

• the city and state that removed a Christopher Columbus statue.

• those who beat up Catholics praying at the statue in St. Louis, Missouri.

• the restaurant whose staff is not wearing masks although the local COVID-19 task force requires it.

• those caught up in the Black Lives Matter movement only further dividing us when the bottom line is that all lives matter.

• those who think observing courtesy markings in checkout lanes is mandatory and use a cart to shove people.

• the church that should investigate and research the goals of Black Lives Matter.

• the religious group that has a political sign in their yard.

• churches that should stick to religion.

• federal elected officials who want to block senior citizens and retirees that worked all our lives from getting the second stimulus package.

• the local business for never answering their phones and when they do, they just pick up and hang up.

• the federal elected official who has done nothing to make our country great as we are in the middle of a pandemic, recession, and record unemployment.

• federal elected official who needs to be removed from office because American lives depend on it.
