Asbury United Methodist Church — Asbury is offering in-person worship at 9:30 a.m. each Sunday. Patrons can also live stream worship or watch the recorded video after 11 a.m. at www.asburycolumbus.org/latest-worship.

A new Asbury Kids video is available each Wednesday at www.asburycolumbus.org/latest-asbury-kids

Bethany Baptist Church — Come and go “On Holiday with Jesus” virtual vacation bible school will be held July 27-31 on Bethany Baptist Church’s Facebook page.

Participants will travel through the holidays while learning more about Jesus’ love.

Pastor Troy Burns will lead participants through an exciting journey through the Bible.

Cornerstone Outreach Ministries — A nondenominational ministry at 1229 California St., Columbus. Sunday worship services are at 10 a.m. Bible study is on Thursday at 6:30 p.m.

Dayspring Church Apostolic — Worship begins at 11:15 a.m. at the church, 2127 Doctors Park Drive, Columbus. Every visitor will receive a free gift.

The Sunday education session starts at 10 a.m.

Bible study is Tuesday at 5:30 p.m. and is a group session sponsored by Heart Changers International, LLC on depression, perfection and anger, with hand out questions.

Our Prayer of Power starts at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday and is preceded with requests and instructions on prayer.

Ignite is the Youth growth session happens every third Friday.

East Columbus United Methodist — Sunday morning worship at East Columbus United Methodist Church begins at 9:30 a.m. in the sanctuary with the implementation of the recommended in-person worship guidelines.

Social distancing guidelines include a face covering (face masks will be provided for those who need one), seating every other pew, no passing of offering plates, no handshaking or hugging, and the use of pre-packaged communion supplies. Holy Communion is served the first Sunday of each month.

Sunday school will be held immediately following the morning service, and classrooms have been arranged to follow social distancing guidelines. Sunday evening service begins at 6 p.m. in the chapel. Seating has been arranged to follow social distancing guidelines.

The weekly service will continue to be available for viewing online through the church’s Facebook page and on their YouTube channel.

Faith Lutheran Church — The church will livestream worship each Sunday on Facebook at Faith Lutheran Church — Columbus Indiana.

The church is also meeting in person each Sunday at 9 a.m., following specific health guidelines. Daily prayer is live streamed most weekdays at 8 a.m. All are welcome to worship the Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

First Christian Church — The church is offering in-person and online services at 9 and 10:30 a.m. The earlier service is reserved for those 65 and older and the 10:30 a.m. service is open for all ages. The church has activity packs available for children.

First Baptist — The church is now holding public worship gatherings on Sunday mornings at 9:30 a.m. The church also offers a livestream worship connection via its website www.firstbaptistcolumbus.org or https://FirstBaptist Columbus.online.church. First Lutheran Church — The church has begun in-person worship services. Sunday morning worship times are 8:45 a.m. for the classic service and 11:15 a.m. for the casual service.

First Presbyterian — The church continues their series on Second Corinthians this Sunday, reflecting on 2 Cor 4:1-18 with a sermon titled “Treasure in Clay Jars.” This communion Sunday will be a streaming-only service. The church invites you to have simple food and drink nearby so we may eat and drink together (in our own homes) as we remember that holy meal.

First United Methodist — On July 26, at 8:30 a.m., Rev. Howard Boles will deliver the message “Visions of the Kingdom” at the church, 618 Eighth Street, Columbus. The scripture will be Matthew 13:31-33, 44-52.

Doors for the service will be opened at 8 a.m., and the church asks that you enter through the Narthex doors (on Eighth Street) or through the Lafayette Street doors. Hand sanitizer will be available at the entrances to the sanctuary. The church asks that everyone attending wear a mask while they are in the building. Masks will be available if you don’t have one. The church will be practicing social distancing, and we will be taking other precautions to help ensure everyone’s health and safety.

The church will not be having childcare, children’s moment, or Sunday school at this time.

For those that aren’t able to make it to the in-person service or are not yet comfortable meeting in person, the church will continue to have a 10 a.m. live stream of our service on their Facebook page, and it will be available on the church website for later viewing as well.

Compassion Camp VBS began on June 29. Those wishing to join can register at tiny.cc/FUMCcompassionVBS. Once registered, participants can pick up their packet at the church office Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to noon. Participants have an entire week to do the materials in the Family Pack, which are supported by videos posted weekly on the FUMC Columbus YouTube page. Then join the church on Friday mornings at 10 a.m. in the green space at FUMC for fun. The church will sing the song of the week, do some movement activities and crafts that support their learning.

Flintwood Wesleyan — The church is located at 5300 E. 25th St. In response to the current COVID-19 situation, Flintwood Wesleyan Church is canceling all midweek services and activities.

Sunday worship services resumed with the implementation of the recommended in-person worship guidelines.

Please remember to check the church’s various communication spaces — Facebook, Website, Mobile App — for updates. Flintwood staff will be doing everything possible to keep the congregation encouraged. All need to do all we can to keep staff encouraged. Above all pray.

Grace Lutheran — Rev. John Armstrong will preach the message this week.

North Christian Church — Rev. Tonja Gerardy is continuing Sunday services at 10:30 a.m. each Sunday morning via YouTube. Find North Christian Church Columbus Indiana to join.

In addition, join the conversation via Zoom on Tuesday afternoons, beginning at 3:30 p.m. The church will continue to explore Biblical characters whose lives unraveled. Each session is wholly independent from the others, so participants can choose to “come and go,” as able. There is no book to purchase or any advance reading to complete. This is a no-stress way to connect with church family in a way that supports and encourages your spiritual growth.

Old Union United Church of Christ — Scriptures for the 10 a.m. Sunday service with social distancing will include Genesis 29:15-28; Romans 8:26-39; and Matthew 13:31-33, 44-52. The message will be “The Kingdom of Heaven is Like…”

The church will apply social distancing guidelines, which includes no one permitted without a face covering (face masks will be provided for those who need one), space two armwidths apart for non-relatives seating, seating every other pew, no fellowship in the basement, no passing of the peace, no handshaking or hugging.

Petersville United Methodist Church — Interim pastor at Petersville United Methodist Church, Rebecca Milne, will give her message, “Our Father,” on Sunday, July 26 at the 9 a.m. worship service. She will use prayers from Matthew 6:9-13, and will emphasize that the Lord’s Prayer teaches us that it isn’t all about “Me.”

Attendees are to wear masks and practice social distancing; masks and hand sanitizer are available and the pews are marked for distancing. Fellowship time will not be held, and the congregation is requested to do any visiting outdoors on the lawn.

St. Paul’s Episcopal Church — All in-person activities at the church are suspended until further notice. Sunday Eucharist is being hosted on Zoom at 10:15 a.m. each Sunday morning.

St. Paul Lutheran — Pastor Jeff Patterson will present the message ”NOTHING (can separate us from the Love of God!)” based on Romans 8:28-39 Sunday at the 8 & 10:45 a.m. worship services that follow all CDC guidelines for social distancing at St. Paul Lutheran Church, 6045 E. State St.

Christian Fellowship will begin at 9:10 a.m. with Christian education classes following at 9:30 a.m. The Spanish worship service will be in the Fellowship Room at 10:45 a.m. with Spanish sunday school at noon.

In-person worship communion service is held each Wednesday at 4:45 p.m. in the church followed by Bible study on First Thessalonians at 6 p.m. Wednesday’s worship service will be posted online Thursday, July 30 at www.stpaulcolumbus.org

Westside Community — WCC has resumed in-facility worship with the implementation of the recommended guidelines. As a courtesy to all, masks are required. Limited seating will be available to allow for distancing.

The church is recommending older adults attend the 8:45 a.m. service, and young families and all others attend the 10:15 a.m. service. There will be no nursery or children’s church.

The church encourages at-risk individuals to remain at home, and those who have, or have recently had, symptoms to remain at home.
