John and Harriet Armstrong of Columbus are celebrating their 40th wedding anniversary.
Mr. Armstrong and the former Harriet Chitty were married Aug. 3, 1980, at Federated Church of Brookston in Brookston, Indiana, by Pastor Henry Staldorf.
Mr. Armstrong is employed by Grace Lutheran Church.
Mrs. Armstrong is employed by Purdue Extension — Bartholomew County.
