Stewart wins at fairgrounds, will race there again Saturday

Tony Stewart captured a three-quarter midget race at Bartholomew County 4-H Fairgrounds for the fourth year in a row Saturday night.

Stewart, who also was fast qualifier and won his heat race, passed Ashlea Albertson with about five laps remaining in the 20-lap feature and won by a little more than two seconds. Albertson finished second, followed by Cory Clay, Matt Lux and Ronnie Combs.

The All Star Circuit of Champions TQ Midgets will return to the fairgrounds again on Saturday. Qualifying begins at 7 p.m., with the feature set for around 8:30 p.m. Tickets are $10, and attendance is capped at 1,250.
