HOPE — The marking of the centennial of the women’s right to vote unfolded with activities Saturday at the Yellow Trail Museum in Hope.

The free gathering was part of the free 100 Years of Women’s Suffrage Celebration. The event included young girls creating traditional votes-for-women sashes for themselves and also for their dolls that they brought along.

Some of those who attended dressed in period costumes. That included people such as Debra Slone, who offered a reenactment of an early-1900s votes-for-women rally.
