COLUMBUS
Sharon K. Lovins, 64, of Columbus, passed from this life Monday, September 28, 2020 at her home.
Sharon was born July 25, 1956, in Columbus, the daughter of William O. and Bessie F. Mitchell Perdue.
She married Ronald T. Lovins May 21, 1976. He preceded her in death November 25, 2003.
Mrs. Lovins was employed at Applied Laboratories. She enjoyed dancing, cookouts, spending time with kids, friends and co-workers and helping people.
Survivors include her son, Kurt T. Lovins of Columbus; brother, Robert “Bobby” Perdue of Columbus; step-daughter, Betty Tobias of Columbus; step-son, Larry Lovins of Texas; step-granddaughter, Brittany Jackson of Columbus and a niece, Sarah Perdue.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband and sisters, Diana G. Loesch Fugate and Jennifer M. Perdue.
A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday at Barkes, Weaver & Glick Funeral Home on Washington Street with Pastor Chris Rutan officiating.
Family and friends may call from 11:00 a.m. to time of service.
Burial will be at Bethel Baptist Cemetery.
We do ask that visitors follow the social distancing guidelines once inside the funeral home and masks are required.
