Twisters top Jets in sectional semifinal
SHELBYVILLE — Hauser saw its season come to an end with a 2-0 loss to Oldenburg Academy in the semifinals of the Southwestern (Shelby) Sectional on Wednesday.
The Twisters outshot the Jets (4-10-2) 6-4. Zach Weichman recorded four saves.
Bulldogs oust Eagles in semifinal
MONROVIA — Brown County fell to Monrovia 2-0 in the semifinals of the Monrovia Sectional.
Ethan Scott posted nine saves for the Eagles (5-7).
Pioneers blank Trinity Lutheran
SEYMOUR — Trinity Lutheran lost to Providence 12-0 in the semifinals of the Trinity Sectional.
The Pioneers outshot the Cougars (2-11) 47-2. Peyton Poller recorded 35 saves.

Cardinals sweep Brown County
BLOOMFIELD — Brown County came close in the second set, but fell to Bloomfield 25-14, 25-22, 25-12.
Mary Rygiel pounded 12 kills, and Abigail Bowman recorded 21 assists to lead the Eagles (10-10). Lauren Akles added eight kills, and Rygiel notched three digs.
