COLUMBUS, INDIANA
Imogene Weisner, 90, of Columbus, passed away Thursday, October 8th, 2020 at Columbus Regional Hospital.
There will be a private family funeral at Jewell-Rittman Family Funeral Home with the Rev. Marcus Speer officiating. Burial will be at the Moravian Church Cemetery in Hope.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to your local Humane Society, charity of your choice or just keep your bird feeders full and think of Imogene as you enjoy your birds.
Mrs. Weisner was a graduate of Shields High School, Seymour and Indiana Business College.
Mrs. Weisner was a member of the Hope Moravian Church. She enjoyed all things of nature, reading and doing genealogical research. She was a member of Daughters of the America Revolution, the Huguenot Society, Daughters of the War of 1812, Colonial Dames XVII Century, Daughters of Colonial Wars, Society of Indiana Pioneers and Bartholomew Co. Genealogical Society.
Imogene was born in Terre Haute, Indiana, on January 4th, 1930. Mrs. Weisner was the daughter of James Harvey Chafin and Louise (Hannah) Chafin, She married William James Weisner November 3rd, 1951. He died May 6th, 1994.
Survivors include sons, Kurt (Lisa) Weisner, Kraig (Karen) Weisner and Kris Weisner all of Columbus; grandchildren, Dustin, Alex, Casey, Alexa and Maggie.
