COLUMBUS, Ind. — First responders have closed the northbound lanes of U.S. 31 just north of Lowell Road due to a two-vehicle accident.
Initial reports are that one vehicle is inverted and a driver is currently pinned inside, awaiting extraction by firefighters. The accident was reported at about 11 a.m. Monday.
Columbus police said it does not appear that the accident involves serious injuries.
